The Friends & Neighbors Day program (FND) is one of our most popular community service programs. This program was born after the 1992 Los Angeles Riots as a way to connect student volunteers with local service organizations in meaningful ways. Students are introduced to incredible volunteer opportunities at various nonprofits throughout the Los Angeles area. Our goal is to inspire students, staff, and alumni to continue their passion for community service during their time here at USC and beyond. Participate in an event to make an impact in your surrounding community! We hope that you have a great time at FND!
COVID UPDATE: We are launching in person and virtual service events this fall. Students should expect to follow all rules and guidance set forth from the university and nonprofit staff to be able to participate in service projects. We will also share in person and virtual volunteering opportunities on our newsletter to support more nonprofits and so Trojans may participate no matter what their preference.
