Community Outreach with URU

Ultimate Restoration Unlimited (URU), a community resource center, is looking for volunteers to help us with door-to-door outreach!
It is important to keep our community members informed on our projects, allowing them ownership, agency, and connection to what is happening in their neighborhoods. The goal is to inform the community about our upcoming end of year events and recruit them to be a part of them. Whether they want to volunteer, donate, or just come out- we want to encourage their engagement and keep them in the loop!
NOVEMBER 12 Volunteer Opportunity (times vary) – Inform community members of our Giving Thanks community food distribution event on November 19th and encourage volunteers.
NOVEMBER 26 Volunteer Opportunity (times vary) – Inform community members of our Wrapping Up the Year event on December 3rd, where we decorate neighborhood trees for the holiday, and January 3rd when we come to clean it all up. Recruit volunteers and encourage participation in community building while we decorate!
