How to start a new RSO
New Student Organization Applications
More information about the application process for Fall 2024 will be available July 1.

Note it takes up to 6-8 weeks for Campus Activities to process these applications.
Submitting an application does not automatically approve your organization.
What do you need?
- Create your organization’s constitution (Sample-Constitution Updated DOC)
- Identify a full-time faculty/staff Advisor
- Have a roster of at least 10 enrolled USC students
- 5 officers (President, Vice President, Treasurer, Social Chair, Secretary)
- 5 officers to have completed the Hazing Prevention 101™ Course (https://usc.prevent.zone/)
- 5 officers to complete their officer specific training course on the Rise platform
