Come help Bluesky LA plant a native garden at Montara Avenue Elementary!
Tuesday, May 9th 2023 from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM 10018 Montara Avenue South Gate CA, 90280
Volunteers will be getting their hands dirty digging, adding mulch, and planting native plants.
Minors under 14 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. All volunteers must sign liability forms and minors must have parental/guardian consent to participate in the activity. Please wear closed-toed shoes and a hat.
Bluesky LA is an ongoing initiative dedicated to funding local projects that drastically improve the air quality of Los Angeles by the LA 2028 Olympics. Through projects big and small, from tree planting, urban gardens, compost hubs, and other strategies, Bluesky LA is building community engagement to support and implement these projects in communities that experience the worst air quality.
