Volunteers Needed to Build DIY Indoor Air Filters at Pico Union Project

We invite you to our volunteer event in partnership with Changeist and Pico Union Project on February 25th from 8:00 am-12:00 pm. Volunteers will build DIY indoor air purifiers, distribute food, and more for the Pico Union Project community in Los Angeles. The location is 1153 Valencia St, Los Angeles, CA 90015.
Pico Union Project is a vibrant cultural center that builds community health, resilience, and neighborhood revitalization in the Pico-Union area of Los Angeles. Pico Union Project strives to be a source of light and equity for all, providing the community with access to fresh, nutritious food, healthcare services, creativity classes, and opportunities for meaningful paid work. On February 25th, 2023, 8 AM-12 PM, Blue Sky LA is partnering with Pico Union Project and Changeist to build DIY air purifiers, plant trees in the community, and assist with distributing food at Vida Sana. Volunteers are needed to help with these projects. Learn about volunteers’ impact on the local air quality by participating in our Blue Sky LA program. Volunteers of all ages and skill are invited .
