Residential Student Government (RSG)
Residential Student Government (RSG) serves all students who live in University housing by providing them with ways to enhance and contribute to their residential experience at the University of Southern California. RSG funding seeks to allocate funds that allow students to participate, learn, and bond through residential programs hosted by student organizations, building governments, resident advisors, and individual students.
In order to receive funding from RSG, you must receive the support of at least two building governments. You are eligible to receive $75 for each building government that signs a contract supporting the event. If all building governments sign contracts of support, you are eligible for as much as $1,125.
Please note: RSG does offer reimbursements, as long as the reimbursement forms are submitted within 14 days following the event. Retroactive funding requests will not be considered for funding.
Applications are due two Wednesdays and a Sunday before the program is to take place. All deadlines are strictly enforced. Applications must include a brief summary of the program/event, an itemized budget, confirmed alternative sources of funding, and contact information.
RSG is located in the Office of Residential Education, STU200h. Please visit the RSG Website to learn more.
